The Royal Ballet and Opera are headquartered at the Royal Opera House in London’s Covent Garden. The current theatre, completed in 1858, is the third on the Covent Garden site, following fires in 1808 and 1856. In July 1997, the venue closed for a major programme of refurbishment and conservation works. As a Grade I listed building, it retains its original 1858 auditorium and foyer, requiring highly specialised heritage expertise. Barons has been trusted to deliver multiple projects within the Opera House, reflecting our proven capability in working on complex, high-profile cultural sites.
