Liberty of London was founded in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty and has now celebrated 150 years of trading. Originally located on Regent Street, the store expanded in 1924 with the opening of its iconic Great Marlborough Street building, which is now a Grade II* listed heritage site.

I have worked with Barons on many different projects. They have not only been extremely helpful and professional, but also incredibly beneficial to the productivity of the project.

Arthur Liberty’s original furniture workshop in Archway produced Liberty Arts & Crafts furniture, establishing a strong connection to the Arts & Crafts movement.
This heritage directly aligns with our management team’s experience delivering specialist conservation work for The National Trust at the Grade I listed Red House — the former home of movement founder William Morris and an architectural landmark designed by Philip Webb in 1860. Our team successfully managed both external and internal repairs on this historically significant property, demonstrating our capability in preserving complex heritage assets to the highest standards
